One of the first things that we notice is the editing style that Saevid plays with. As you may already know, the large majority of mouse and keyboard players edit with a button on the keyboard. However, that is not the case with Saevid as his build editing choice is Thumb Mouse Button. While this may seem like a great strategy, it is a lot harder to edit multiple edits quickly. For example, when you edit with your mouse rather than a keyboard button, doing the Floor, Roof, Wall edit on a continuous basis is extremely difficult.
Secondly, we can see that Saevid plays on quite low sensitivity, at just 400 DPI. While this is great as you will have a lot more control over you aim, it isn’t so great when it comes to being in heated situations that require you to turn a lot. Playing on low DPI is especially not a great idea if you have minimal desk space to flick the mouse.
Gear
Mouse
Besides his unique control settings, Saevid is also a proud owner of some pretty great gear that is an integral part of his gaming success on Fortnite. The first item we are going to cover is his mouse. He uses the Logitech G Pro Wireless, which is known in the community as one of the best mouses for competitive Fortnite. This is mainly due to its eSports grade performance capabilities.
Mousepad
To be a great eSports player, a mouse cannot go without a great mouse pad. Saevid uses the ZOWIE G-SR-SE Divina Version eSports Mouse Pad, which is is used by many great Fortnite players in the likes of Benjyfishy.
Keyboard
He also uses the SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, which is smaller than the average keyboard, and provides wrist padding for ultimate comfort during long hours of Fortnite.
Headset
In terms of headsets, Saevid has stopped himself on the Logitech G432, and its easy to see why. The surround sound technology is truly second to none. So, if you want crystal clear in-game audio, that is the headset for you.
Microphone
And finally, we all know how important communication is Fortnite, and sometimes, when it comes to making decisions and communicating them with your teammates, a simple headset microphone simply doesn’t cut it. This is why Saevid uses the Audio-Technica AT2020USB+ Cardioid Condenser Microphone.
