Dragonflight is a dream for fans of collecting, achievement hunting, and exploration. Every zone in the expansion is full of interesting treasures, and Zaralek Cavern is no exception.

If you’ve been exploring around the Aberrus raid hub, you may have noticed a particularly interesting chest hidden away on the top of the fortress, called Fealty’s Reward.

It’s not immediately obvious how to open Fealty’s Reward and get the prizes inside, so I’ve put together this quick guide. Here’s how to unlock Fealty’s Reward chest in Dragonflight.

How to Get Fealty’s Reward Treasure

To start, you’ll need to head to Zaralek Cavern if you’re not there already. Make sure you’re level 70 and that you have your Dragonriding mount maxed out, as there’s a fair few cliffs and caves to explore in this zone.

Head to the Abberus raid hub.

You can find the Fealty’s Reward chest on the middle layer of the main structure, in front of an ornate door. It can be a little tricky to get to, so use your Dragonriding mount.

The key to unlocking this chest sits on the bottom layer of the Abberus raid hub. It’s hidden incredibly well, to the point of being a little ridiculous.

Head to the edge of the balcony, and fly towards the large statue on the right hand side. It’s right in the middle of a courtyard of sorts.

Careful when you land, as there are a few heavy-hitting mobs in the area.

Once you’re there, stand directly in front of the statue.

Make sure that you’re not on your mount, as this will stop the process from working.

Then, type ‘/kneel’ into the chat.

Your character will then kneel in front of the statue, which will activate it.

To check it’s working, look up and see whether the statue is breathing fire at the balcony with the Fealty’s Reward chest on it.

If it’s not, try kneeling again and make sure you’re right in front of it.

If it is, get back on your Dragonriding mount quickly and head back up to the balcony. If you take too long, you will have to repeat the process.

Once you’re back on the balcony, the chest will now be lootable.

It contains a number of useful resources and items, like Flightstones, Dragon Isles Supplies, and Whelpling’s Shadowflame Crest Fragments.

I also got a Drakeforged Magma Charm from it.

What to Do Next

Zaralek Cavern is full of treasures and mini puzzles, so keep an eye out as you’re exploring if you enjoy this sort of thing. There’s another treasure called the Molten Hoard quite near to Fealty’s Reward which is worth checking out if you can find it.

In general, every zone on the Dragon Isles is full of treasure and collectibles. There’s another one in the Shimmering Towers zone called the Struggling Mothling puzzle.

If you’re a mount or Battle Pet collector, Zaralek Cavern has an individual Safari achievement which is worth working on to pad out your collection. As a dedicated Battle Pet fan, I’d say that the designs in Zaralek Cavern are some of the best Pet designs so far.
