If you’re a fan of the Diablo franchise, you’ll be happy to know that the date for the open beta period has finally been announced by the team.

If you’ve pre-ordered, you’ll be able to access open beta on March 17th, 18th, and 19th.

That’s not the only open beta date, though. You don’t even need to pre-order the game.

Announced during the second day of the IGN Fan Fest livestream, it has been officially confirmed by the game director Joe Shely that open beta testing will be available for everyone on March 24th, 25th, and 26th.

This is immense news for Diablo fans, as the open beta has been described as being incredibly extensive and significant. You can level all the way up to 25, which is a quarter of the way to the level cap for the game.

Not only that, players will also be able to play all the way through the prologue and first act of the game. This includes every single quest in the prologue and the first act, and all of the side quests as well. That’s a hell of a lot of hellish content.

If you’re excited to learn more about the open beta, there’s a developer livestream which will be taking place on February 28th. This is the second developer livestream so far, so there’ll be plenty of interesting info to digest.

With incredible character-centric cutscenes, rich and terrifying environments, and well over 30 hours of main quests to complete, this game is set to be incredible.

Diablo IV will be available for early access open beta testing from March 17th-19th and general open beta testing from March 24th-26th.

The full game will be launching on 6th June 2023. It will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
