The diamond camo is the second-rarest weapon camo that you can unlock in Call of Duty: Vanguard. The reason why so many players want it is because it is like a status symbol in the community. Not everyone has it and that’s what makes it so special.
The funny thing is that it is available for everybody, you just have to know exactly what you need to do in order to unlock it.
So, in this short guide, I will walk you through all the steps you need to take in order to unlock the diamond camo in Vanguard. To give you a little hint, it’s easy but it will take you some time.

Unlocking Diamond Camo in Call of Duty: Vanguard
To unlock the diamond camo in Vanguard, you need to unlock the golden camo for a set amount of weapons from the weapon category that you want to get the diamond camo for.
For example, if you want to get the diamond camo on your Volk loadout, you’ll need to unlock the gold camo for at least seven assault rifles. If you want to unlock the diamond camo for your Kar98K loadout, you need to unlock the gold camo for all three snipers in the game.
Once you have the gold camo for as many weapons within the category as required, then the diamond camo will become available for all weapons within the category. Unfortunately, if you unlock the diamond camo for your sniper rifles, that doesn’t mean you’ll unlock it for your SMGs or any other weapon category.
Note: Unlocking the gold camo for each of the weapons required is a completely different challenge. To do that for each weapon, you’ll have to complete all weapon camo challenges, which can be a grind. To give you an idea, you need to reach a maximum level weapon of 70, which is higher than any other Call of Duty before.

There’s no secret that in order to unlock the diamond camo, you need to grind the game out. If you’re a casual gamer that doesn’t particularly pay attention to what guns you use, then it might take you months if not years to unlock the sought-after camo.
However, with the right strategy and a couple of hours of gaming a day using the right weapons, you’ll be on your way to a diamond camo in no time.
In order to be more efficient, you should only play with the set weapons within the category that you’re looking to get the diamond camo for. Though most players will do all that in multiplayer if you do happen to get bored of it after a while, you can switch it up and play some zombies. Sure, it’s not as fast but it’s different.
