Haaland is the cover star of FC 24, and he continues a trend of having the game’s best players featured on such covers.

If you’re playing career mode, players like him can be difficult to get your hands on from the start, especially if you’re managing a club that only provides a small transfer budget.

This guide discusses the best young strikers in FC 24 career mode, including options that can serve as budget alternatives to the “unattainable” players. Let’s get into it!

Erling Haaland

  • Age: 22
  • Club: Manchester City
  • Country: Norway

There’s a reason why he’s the game’s cover star, after all. Erling Haaland is among the best young players in FC 24. In fact, he’s arguably the best one.

He has a 91-rated card with face card stats of 89 pace, 93 shooting, 66 passing, 79 dribbling, 45 defending, and 88 physical.

Due to budget limitations, it’ll probably be impossible to get him in your first year in career mode, but he is one to watch.

Karim Adeyemi

  • Age: 20
  • Club: Dortmund
  • Country: Germany

Karim Adeyemi has an 80-rated card in FC 24 which is a great starting point for a player of his age.

His face card stats are 96 pace, 77 shooting, 71 passing, 81 dribbling, 34 defending, and 68 physical.

If you prefer smaller, more agile strikers, then this is one of the best alternatives to Haaland in that “young” age bracket.

Youssoufa Moukoko

  • Age: 18
  • Club: Dortmund
  • Country: Germany

Adeyemi’s national and club teammate, Moukoko is also an outstanding talent in FC 24. The 18-year-old has a 77-rated card with 4-star skill moves and a 4-star weak foot.

His face card stats are 80 pace, 75 shooting, 59 passing, 80 dribbling, 34 defending, and 65 physical.

Moukoko is a “fox in the box” type of striker, so scoring goals is his main strength. You can focus his development in training on that or try to make him more well-rounded by improving other areas of his game as well.

Goncalo Ramos

  • Age: 22
  • Club: Benfica
  • Country: Portugal

Goncalo Ramos has an 80-rated card at the start in FC 24 career mode.

The card has 2-star skill moves and a 4-star weak foot with face card stats of 77 pace, 78 shooting, 65 passing, 77 dribbling, 47 defending, and 82 physical.

He’s fairly tall at 185cm, so you have the physical tools to make him an offensive powerhouse with some targeted training.

Folarin Balogun

  • Age: 22
  • Club: Monaco
  • Country: England

Coming off the back of a 21-league-goals season on loan with Reims in the 2022/23 Ligue 1 season, Balogun was always odds-on to get a significant boost to his rating in FC 24.

Now, he has a 79-rated card with 3-star skill moves and a 4-star weak foot. His face card stats include 80 pace, 79 shooting, 62 passing, 77 dribbling, 23 defending, and 69 physical.

He’s only just joined Monaco, so you might not be able to sign him in the first year. Be sure to add him to your shortlist.

Eliesse Ben Seghir

  • Age: 18
  • Club: AS Monaco
  • Country: France

Ben Seghir is one of the lesser-known names on this list of the best young strikers in FC 24. It’s understandable because he just made his professional debut for Monaco in November 2022 and is still only 18 years old.

Regardless, someone at the EA headquarters is obviously impressed by what they’ve seen because he’s been given a 72-rated card in FC 24.

The card has 3-star skill moves and a 3-star weak foot with face card stats of 77 pace, 73 shooting, 63 passing, 75 dribbling, 28 defending, and 56 physical.

Elye Wahi

  • Age: 20
  • Club: Lens
  • Country: France

The 2022/23 Ligue 1 season proved to be a significant one for youth football in France due to the sheer number of new talent that was uncovered.

Elye Wahi was one of such talents as he bagged 19 goals in 33 league games for Montpellier. Those numbers earned him a move to the UEFA Champions League’s new boys, Lens, as well as a shiny new 78-rated card in FC 24.

His face card stats include 90 pace, 78 shooting, 67 passing, 78 dribbling, 31 defending, and 67 physical. I would suggest attempting to sign him in the first January transfer window before he develops to the point where his transfer value is inflated.

Mathys Tel

  • Age: 18
  • Club: Bayern
  • Country: France

Mathys Tel joined Bayern Munich from Rennes just before the 2022/23 season started. He’s had a handful of first-team appearances since then and scored a few goals along the way.

One of the rewards for those efforts is his 71-rated card in FC 24. It may not sound very impressive but he’s only 18 and the card has a 4-star weak foot with 4-star skill moves from the start.

His face card stats are 76 pace, 73 shooting, 62 passing, 76 dribbling, 26 defending, and 60 physical.

Adam Hlozek

  • Age: 20
  • Club: Bayer Leverkusen
  • Country: Czech Republic

Adam Hlozek has not particularly set the league alight with his performances since joining Leverkusen from Sparta Prague at the beginning of the 2022/23 season.

However, he still remains one of the brightest striker prospects in world football, and at the age of 20, there is plenty of room to grow.

Hlozek has a 77-rated card in FC 24 with face card stats of 76 pace, 77 shooting, 73 passing, 77 dribbling, 31 defending, and 79 physical. The card has 3-star skill moves and a 4-star weak foot.

Evan Ferguson

  • Age: 18
  • Club: Brighton
  • Country: Republic of Ireland

Like Hlozek, Ferguson is a more physical type of striker. It’s always a good idea to have these types of strikers in your team, even if they’re only going to help with backup tactics.

Ferguson is still very much trying to establish himself in the English Premier League, so his relatively modest 73-rated card in FC 24 is fair.

The card has a 3-star weak foot and 3-star skill moves with face card stats of 72 pace, 72 shooting, 58 passing, 70 dribbling, 21 defending, and 70 physical. He won’t cost too much so this is one transfer you can complete from the start of your career mode.
