In football, attackers generally get a lot more media attention and hype than players in other positions. There’s a lot of excitement surrounding wingers and strikers, and that feeling extends to football games as well.
Usually, the best players in FIFA games are often attackers, and the same applies to the most exciting young players.
In FC 24, players generally seem to have less pace than they did in the previous FIFA games, but there are still plenty of exciting wingers if you know where to look.
This guide discusses the best young wingers in FC 24 career mode. If you can get two or three of these recommendations into your club, you will be set for many years.
Vinicius Jr.
- Age: 22
- Club: Real Madrid
- Country: Brazil
- Position: LW
Vinicius is already one of the highest-rated players in the game, so he’s undoubtedly the best young winger as well.
In FC 24, he has an 89-rated OVR card with face card stats of 95 pace, 82 shooting, 78 passing, 91 dribbling, 29 defending, and 68 physical.
Not many clubs can afford to buy him at the start of a new career save, so this is a signing that you might have to plan way ahead for. If you do get him, that left-wing position will be sorted for a long time.
Bukayo Saka
- Age: 21
- Club: Arsenal
- Country: England
- Position: RM
Bukayo Saka is not quite as high-rated as Vinicius in FC 24, but his 86-rated card is still good enough to walk into the starting eleven of almost any club in the game.
His face card stats include 85 pace, 81 shooting, 79 passing, 87 dribbling, 59 defending, and 70 physical.
If you’re planning to add him to your roster, I would recommend focusing his training on improving that pace before anything else. Alternatively, you can also try him out in central positions where pace is not as important.
The main problem will be his price tag. An English wonderkid from the Premier League never comes cheap, so be ready.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
- Age: 22
- Club: Napoli
- Country: Georgia
- Position: LW
“Kvaradona” as he’s fondly called got a massive boost in FC 24 compared to his Silver card in FIFA 23. He is now an 86-rated OVR with 5-star skill moves and a 5-star weak foot.
His face card stats include 84 pace, 80 shooting, 81 passing, 87 dribbling, 41 defending, and 71 physical.
On paper, it’s a similar card to Bukayo Saka’s and should be very effective playing through the middle as well. However, that 5-star combo is a game-changer and makes him very effective on the wing despite his unimpressive rating for pace.
If you’re looking for a left-winger who is good enough to start and young enough to play for a long time while retaining/growing his commercial value, then Kvara is a cheaper alternative to Vinicius.
Rodrygo
- Age: 22
- Club: Real Madrid
- Country: Brazil
- Position: RW
Rodrygo was 81-rated in FIFA 23, but he’s received a +4 boost on his FC 24 card due to an impressive 2022/23 campaign in real life.
The face card stats on his new 85 OVR are 88 pace, 81 shooting, 79 passing, 86 dribbling, 31 defending, and 62 physical.
He’s not quite on the same level as his teammate Vinicius, but he’s still one of the best young players in the game. At 22, there’s plenty of room for him to grow into the 90s and become one of the best players in the game within a few years.
Gabriel Martinelli
- Age: 22
- Club: Arsenal
- Country: Brazil
- Position: LM
Another left-winger who serves as a “cheaper” alternative to Vinicius Jr. is his international teammate, Gabriel Martinelli. He’s still a high-budget option, but he’s not on the same tier as Vini.
Martinelli, like Saka, was rewarded for a very good 2022/23 season with a significant upgrade to his rating on the game. He was only 78-rated in FIFA 23 but his new FC 24 card is an 84 OVR.
Face card stats include 89 pace, 78 shooting, 76 passing, 86 dribbling, 46 defending, and 72 physical.
A well-rounded card with plenty of room to grow.
Ansu Fati
- Age: 20
- Club: Brighton
- Country: Spain
- Position: LW
Injuries may have stunted the upward trend of his career in real life, but Ansu Fati is still very much one of the brightest prospects in his position in FC 24.
He’s been given a 78-rated card with face card stats of 89 pace, 76 shooting, 72 passing, 80 dribbling, 30 defending, and 53 physical. The OVR sounds a bit low in comparison to the other options on this list, but he’s only 20 years old.
He’s only just joined Brighton at the start of the game, so you might be unable to get him to your club unless you’re managing them.
However, be sure to keep an eye on him until his loan deal comes to an end as there’s a good chance Barca would be welcoming offers.
Jadon Sancho
- Age: 22
- Club: Manchester United
- Country: England
- Position: RW
Sancho is another example of a player that’s struggling with unfulfilled potential in real life. Like Fati, you have the chance to offer him redemption in FC 24 by signing him and taking charge of his development.
His card in the game has been on a downward trend and he’s now only 82-rated in FC 24. One of the biggest talking points is that his pace has dropped to 78, which is unfortunate since that used to be one of his biggest strengths.
Regardless, at 22, he’s still one of the best young wingers that you can sign in career mode. Other face card stats include 70 shooting, 80 passing, 88 dribbling, 33 defending, and 47 physical.
Alejandro Garnacho
- Age: 19
- Club: Manchester United
- Country: Argentina
- Position: LW
One of the players offering stiff competition for places to Sancho at Manchester United is Alejandro Garnacho. The Argentinian has been on a rich run of form, forcing himself into Erik Ten Hag’s plans towards the end of the 2022/23 season.
As a result of those impressive cameos, he’s earned a 75-rated card in FC 24. Face card stats include 84 pace, 69 shooting, 65 passing, 77 dribbling, 33 defending, and 58 physical.
Garnacho’s OVR might be seven whole points away from Sancho’s, but he offers better value for money. He’s three years younger, and he doesn’t cost as much.
Michael Olise
- Age: 21
- Club: Crystal Palace
- Country: England
- Position: RW
Another young English winger who plays in the Premier League. Olise is a medium-budget option for managers who cannot afford to splash the cash on the very best.
He’s a left-footed attacker who does his best work coming in from the right flank – a similar profile to Saka.
The difference in quality between both players is clear enough, but Olise still holds his own nicely among the best young wingers in FC 24. With the right development plan, he can be as good as Saka.
Yeremy Pino
- Age: 20
- Club: Villarreal
- Country: Spain
- Position: RM
Pino is perhaps more suitable for a wide midfield role than a traditional wing role. He’s not the quickest which could be a problem for beating the best defenders, but his work rate and versatility make him a unicorn among the best young wingers.
I do recommend working on his pace as much as you can in training. It shouldn’t be too much of a hassle since he’s only 20 and has a lot of room to grow.
Another positive is that Villarreal won’t ask for too much for this guy, so you have a good chance of signing him even if you’re not with the richest clubs.
So, now you know who the best young wingers in FC 24 career mode are. If you were wondering what else is different in the new game, we have a guide that discusses that, so check it out next!
