The field pass system has been the main game loop in MUT for a few years now.

This is a reward pathway that you navigate by earning XP. Every level can be unlocked by hitting a specific XP requirement, and each level has unique rewards you can earn by unlocking it.

The field pass rewards are often very valuable and it creates an incentive to go out and earn XP for those specific field passes.

The more XP you earn the higher level you will become and the better rewards you will receive.

This article will focus on how to earn XP quickly in Madden 24 Ultimate Team, covering primary season XP as well as how you can earn secondary XP like headliners XP and competitive XP.

Season 1 Reward Path

If you are wondering why we make such a big deal about earning season 1 XP, this is the list of the absolutely massive rewards you can earn for each level you unlock in the next era field pass.

All in all, it is over 100,000 coins, several 80+ players, dozens of packs, and even the ability to unlock Wembley Stadium as a home field for your MUT team.

How to Earn Season 1 XP

The season 1 field pass is the primary pathway to follow as you level up, but there are also secondary field passes that you can level up at the same time.

These secondary field passes, such as the ‘competitive’ field pass and the ‘headliners’ field pass, also have their own XP, objectives, and rewards.

Complete Season 1 Specific Objectives

The season 1 next-era field pass has daily objectives as well as statistical milestone objectives that can earn you a few thousand XP quickly.

One of the best ways to earn Season 1 XP is to play MUT every day and make sure to complete the Season 1 daily objectives, this coincidently is also one of the ways you can earn coins quickly as well. To find the daily objectives, go to ‘live events’ in the MUT menu, hold the left trigger to bring up the different programs, go to ‘Season 1’ and then click on ‘objectives.’ There you will find the three daily objectives and the corresponding rewards.

The other main objectives in the Season 1 field pass are statistical milestones that you can reach throughout the course of Season 1. These stats and milestones can be accrued by playing any MUT mode unless otherwise specified.

Non-daily objectives are not repeatable, and stats do not reset once completed.

Progress Through the Competitive Field Pass

The competitive field pass is based on the three main competitive game modes in MUT. These are the solo battles, H2H seasons, and MUT champions.

MUT champions are ultra-competitive online multiplayer, with H2H seasons being slightly less intense and solo battles being single-player challenges that are connected to an online leaderboard.

You earn competitive XP in order to move through the levels of the competitive field pass by completing daily/weekly objectives as well as statistical milestones within the three competitive game modes.

At certain levels of the competitive field pass, you will earn significant amounts of season 1 XP.

How to Earn Competitive XP

All stats must be completed in MUT champions, solo battles, or H2H seasons.

Weekly and daily stats are game mode specific (you must gain the stats in the specific game mode). To find the specific weekly and daily objectives, go to ‘live events’ in the MUT menu, hold the left trigger to bring up the different programs, go to ‘competitive’, and then click on ‘objectives.’ You’ll find the daily objectives, and then you can use the right bumper to see the MUT champs, solo battles, and H2H season’s weekly objectives.

Weekly objectives are reset and updated on Fridays at noon EST.

Daily objectives are reset and updated at noon EST every day.

Non-daily/weekly objectives are not repeatable, and stats do not reset once completed.

Progress Through the Headliners Field Pass

Complete headliners’ challenges, sets, and objectives to earn headliners XP in order to progress through the levels of the headliners’ event.

The headliner’s field pass is based on the headliner’s challenges game mode. The headliner challenges are all three challenge sequences based on the real performances of headliner players.

Progressing through the game mode is simple; each sequence has three challenges, and each challenge has five potential stars you can earn. You get one star for completing the main objective, and you earn an additional star for each of the two bonus objectives. You also get extra stars based on the difficulty level: zero extra stars for easy, one extra star for medium, and two extra stars for hard.

You gain headliner XP in order to move through the levels of the headliner’s field, pass by collecting stars, and reaching different statistical milestones.

At certain levels of the headliner’s field pass, you will earn significant amounts of Season 1 XP.
