Elite void equipment in OSRS is a unique set of gear with awesome, highly-sought out properties. Just like its normal counterpart, the set provides a percentage bonus to damage and accuracy for melee and Ranged, and a higher accuracy bonus to Magic.

These percentage boosts make elite void gear invaluable for high level content, on certain bosses and monsters with high defences. Vorkath is a great example, as the elite void Ranged set is considered best in slot at the boss.

That being said, obtaining elite void gear can be a time consuming process, especially considering you need a full set of regular void gear first.

In this guide, I’ll show you exactly how to get elite void equipment in OSRS.

Basic Void Equipment

The first step to getting elite void equipment in Old School RuneScape is to get yourself a set of regular void equipment. This is done through the Pest Control minigame. The full set of normal void costs 850 commendation points.

The set consists of a top, bottom, gloves, and three helmets corresponding to the three combat styles in OSRS: melee, Ranged, and Magic. You will need 42 Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged, Hitpoints, and Magic, as well as 22 Prayer, to buy and equip the void set.

Additionally, there are three tiers of Pest Control difficulty, each corresponding to a combat level bracket. Novice at 40 combat, Intermediate at 70 combat, and Veteran at 100 combat. You can take a boat from Port Sarim, or use the Pest Control minigame teleport to get to the Pest Control island.

Each tier gives a varying number of commendation points, with novice granting 3 points per victory, intermediate granting 4 points per victory, and veteran granting 5 points per victory. I would recommend using only the veteran tier and various dragon weapons to farm commendation points.

Once you have 850 commendation points, you can buy all the pieces of the void set, including all three helms. From here, you will need to upgrade the void top and bottom to elite void. This can be done by farming more commendation points.

However, you will not be able to purchase the elite void upgrades before completing the Hard tier of the Western Provinces Achievement Diary, which has a number of skill and quest requirements.

In terms of skills, you will need 56 Agility, 100 Combat, 65 Construction, 70 Cooking, 68 Farming, 50 Firemaking, 62 Fishing, 5 Fletching, 69 Hunter, 70 Ranged, 64 Magic, 70 Mining, 75 Thieving, and 50 Woodcutting.

In terms of quests, you will need to complete ‘Mourning’s End Part 1’ and all prerequisites, ‘Swan Song’ and all prerequisites, and the ‘Freeing King Awowogei’ part of ‘Recipe for Disaster.’

Back to Pest Control

Once you have completed the Hard Western Provinces Diary, you simply need to return to Pest Control. You need to farm another 200 commendation points per elite piece. Since only the void knight top and bottom upgrade to elite, you need a total of 400 points.

With your 400 commendation points in hand, talk to the Elite Void Knight on the Pest Control island. By speaking to them, you will be able to upgrade your void top and bottom to elite void.

Final Thoughts

Elite void equipment in OSRS is not difficult to obtain, just very time consuming. First, you need to farm a set of regular void from the Pest Control minigame. Then, you need to complete the Hard Western Provinces Achievement Diary.

From there, simply return to Pest Control and farm another 400 points. At this point, you can talk to the Elite Void Knight at the Void Knight Outpost for your elite void equipment.
