Shotguns are often deemed as “sweaty” or, in other terms, a “try-hard” weapon. Regardless of what the haters may think, players opting to use one often have the last laugh.

In Call of Duty’s Vanguard, there are several shotguns that you can pick from. One that stands out, in particular, is the Einhorn Revolving Shotgun. It’s a simple and rapid single-shot shotgun that can take down an opponent with just one headshot from a relatively close distance. Otherwise, it may take you two or three.

The best thing about it? It doesn’t matter whether you shoot one or three bullets, they come out in a matter of milliseconds one after another, leaving your opponent very little chance of survival.

This particular shotgun stood out to me the most, even when I used the default version with zero attachments during the beta phase of Call of Duty: Vanguard. Now that I’ve unlocked and tried all the different attachments, I believe I’ve found the best Einhorn Revolving Shotgun class setup in Vanguard.

If you’re looking for an overpowered Einhorn Revolving Shotgun loadout, read on.

Best Attachments for the Einhorn Revolving Shotgun

Though lethal up close, one of the biggest issues I’ve had with this shotgun was the reload speed. It’s slow and tedious, bullet and bullet, it takes what feels like forever to fully load it. I’ve solved that issue by using the appropriate magazine.

Aside from that, here’re the best attachments for the Einhorn Revolving Shotgun

  • Muzzle: G28 Compensator
  • Barrel: Sawed-Off
  • Optic: MK 3 Sunfilter
  • Stock: Removed Stock
  • Underbarrel: M1915 Steady
  • Magazine: 16 Gauge 10 Round Drums
  • Ammo Type: Reduced Powder
  • Rear Grip: Leather Grip
  • Proficiency: Sleight of Hand
  • Kit: Quick

Why these attachments? Pretty simple. I’ve gone for speed, some accuracy, and great TTK (time-to-kill). I’ve removed the stock altogether, which will give you a very nice boost to the overall speed you can run at, while the large volume of ammunition present in each mag can rip through a number of enemies up-close.

As for the optic, it is simple and straightforward. I rarely use it myself as I prefer to just point and shoot, it’s more fun and so far, it hardly makes any difference to my overall performance. Of course, if an enemy is a little further out, then yeah, I would aim and try to deal as much damage as I can but other than that, I don’t aim.

Feel free to play around with the attachments if you feel the need to – especially with the optic.

Best Perks for the Einhorn Revolving Shotgun

From all the perks available, I believe that the following are the most suitable for this shotgun loadout.

  • Perk 1: Survival Training (19)
  • Perk 2: Tracker (23)
  • Perk 3: Double Time (11)

Let me explain. Survival training allows you to be resistant to stuns and gas grenades. This is perfect for rushing opponents that may have those grenades at their disposal. As for the tracker perk, it allows you to see recent enemy footsteps, which can help you track down your nearby opponents. And lastly, we have double time, which doubles the duration of your tactical spring and increases crouching speed by 30%.

Best Secondary Weapon for Einhorn Revolving Shotgun

After trying various weapons, I believe that the best secondary weapon for the Einhorn Revolving Shotgun is the Machine Pistol – yes, a pistol. This burst-fire pistol is so good that it ranked first in our guide to the best pistols in Vanguard.

It was one of the first pistols that I had tried and it blew my mind. I could eliminate opponents both at close and long-range with very little effort and that was when I used it without any attachments.

Now that I have the right set of attachments, this pistol has become even more lethal. Here’s what I’d recommend you use.

  • Muzzle: NO. 3 Rifle Brake
  • Barrel: VDD 35mm Short
  • Optic: Nydar Model 47 (Slate Reflector is also very good)
  • Trigger Action: Rapid Action
  • Magazine: 7.62 Tokarev 40 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
  • Profficiency: Fleet
  • Kit: Quick

If you were to change anything, I’d recommend you to try out different optics and proficiencies to see which one works best for your play style. As for the rest, I wouldn’t touch them as I believe they are the best ones for this particular gun.

Best Lethal & Tactical for the Einhorn Revolving Shotgun

For lethal, I’ve gone for the throwing knife. It gives you the opportunity to easily kill an enemy without much effort, especially when you’re up close. Molotov cocktail is also pretty decent but I prefer the throwing knife in this case.

As for the tactical, stim is a very decent choice. It allows you to cauterize combat wounds and refresh your tactical sprint. If you were in a fierce battle, you can just pop it and you’re ready to go again. Stun grenades would be my second choice as they are perfect for clearing up and neutralizing enemies in houses and tight spaces.

Final Thoughts

Now that you know what the best Einhorn Revolving Shotgun class setup is, all you need to do is unlock and apply the attachments that I’ve recommended and try it out for yourself. Let me know how you get on and how much fun you’re having.
