Harmony Island is a rather tranquil location in OSRS. It boasts a flour mill, a few Farming patches, and some monks.

That being said, the Island provides an immersive setting for a certain quest, called ‘The Great Brain Robbery’. In fact, you need to begin this quest to gain access to Harmony Island, and complete it to gain unhindered access.

Due to its status as a quest location, most players visit the Island at least once in their RuneScape journeys. This could be for a variety of reasons; they may be going for the Quest Point Cape, or simply are after rewards from this specific quest.

Either way, most players should learn how to get to Harmony Island in OSRS, and that’s what we’ll show you in this guide.

The Great Brain Robbery

Requirements

The Great Brain Robbery is officially a medium length quest, but it has a number of requirements that must be met before starting. First, you need a number of stats: 16 Crafting, 30 Construction, and 50 Prayer.

Additionally, you need to have completed the following list of other quests:

  • Jungle Potion
  • Big Chompy Bird Hunting
  • Zogre Flesh Eaters
  • Rum Deal
  • Priest in Peril
  • Pirate’s Treasure
  • Cabin Fever
  • Creature of Fenkenstrain

The Pirate Pete subquest in ‘Recipe for Disaster’ must also be complete. For more information on other Recipe for Disaster subquests, check out how to get Rock Cake in OSRS.

If you’re an Ironman account, you also need a workshop and crafting table in your player-owned-house. In terms of items to bring, you will need a fishbowl helmet and diving apparatus, which you can get from Murphy in Port Khazard.

Beginning the Quest

To begin the quest, sail to Mos Le’Harmless, where you will notice a sick, zombie-like monk near the docks. His name is Brother Tranquility, and you should talk to him to start the quest. When talking to him, select the option about undead pirates, and say yes when he asks for help.

This action starts The Great Brain Robbery quest. With the quest started, you have gained access to Harmony Island. However, until the quest is complete, the Island will be blanketed in a sickly green gas.

Due to this gas, you will need the diving helmet and apparatus to walk around. However, if you complete the quest, the gas dissipates. Once the gas dissipates, you won’t need the fishbowl helmet and diving apparatus.

Returning to the Island

Additionally, there are several ways to return to Harmony Island in OSRS after your first visit. The fastest and easiest way is to use the Harmony Island Teleport spell in the Arceuus spellbook, which requires 65 Magic, 60% Arceuus favor, and completion of the quest.

Alternatively, many players opt to teleport to Mos Le’Harmless instead, since these docks are more accessible, and their teleports are significantly cheaper. Then, they simply run to Brother Tranquility and travel to Harmony Island via him.

Players looking for similarly-themed locations should check out how to get to Entrana in OSRS, as well. Both islands provide important backdrops for a number of quests, so most players will visit both locations during their time with RuneScape.

Final Thoughts

Harmony Island is a useful location to unlock for flour gathering, as well as allotment and herb farming. To unlock the Island, make sure you have all the skill and quest requirements to start The Great Brain Robbery. Then, travel to Mos Le’Harmless, and talk to Brother Tranquility.

Talking to the zombie monk both starts the quest and allows him to take you to Harmony Island. Keep in mind you need the fishbowl helmet and diving apparatus to walk around before the quest is complete.

Follow these steps outlined above and you’ll know how to get to Harmony Island in OSRS in no time.
