Are you trying to find the best TAQ-V Loadout in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2? If so, you have come to the right place.

Chances are you have already tried out a couple of weapons in MW2 and noticed that the TAQ-V looks distinctly like the SCAR from the previous Call of Duty titles, and you would be correct.

The TAQ-V design resembles the FN SCAR-H, a popular weapon from the previous Call of Duty games and well-known for being an excellent weapon for medium-range engagements.

This article will highlight the attachments you should use to create the best TAQ-V loadout in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The Best TAQ-V Loadout in MW2

MW2 TAQ V 1
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Red Dot
  • Rear Grip: Demo Cleanshot Grip
  • Barrel: 18″ Precision-6 Barrel
  • Underbarrel: XTEN Drop Grip
  • Magazine: 30-Round Mag

The TAQ-V is a fast-firing rifle, and without loadouts, it has solid range and damage. This loadout will help improve those benefits even further while also making it even easier to use while sprinting around the map, taking on any opponents that get in your way.

It is a fantastic weapon to use for ranking up quickly in Modern Warfare 2.

Optic: Cronen Mini Red Dot

The first attachment to add to your TAQ-V loadout is the Cronen Mini Red Dot optic. This optic is excellent for reducing ADS time and helping increase your accuracy at range.

If you are not a fan of the Cronen Mini Red Dot, you can opt for another optic in its place. Many of the optics in MW2 provide the same benefits, so have a play around until you find the right one for you.

Rear Grip: Demo Cleanshot Grip

Next, we have opted for the Demo Cleanshot Grip as the rear grip for this weapon. One of the reasons we picked this attachment is that it helps speed up your ADS and increase your mobility while using this weapon.

Barrel: 18″ Precision-6 Barrel

The 18″ Precision-6 Barrel is a great option for increasing bullet velocity and damage range, but it does come at a price. This barrel will reduce how quickly your can move with this gun, but the other attachments should help rectify this.

It is an important attachment for this loadout, as, without it, the TAQ-V can be a little weaker than other weapons, and you run the risk of getting turned on.

Underbarrel: XTEN Drop Grip

Another attachment you can use to increase your operator speed while using this weapon is the XTEN Drop Grip.

As mentioned, the 18″ Precision-6 Barrel will reduce your speed slightly while using the TAQ-V, so it is important you use other attachments to rectify this, and the XTEN Drop Grip meets those requirements.

Magazine: 30-Round Mag

Finally, we have chosen to equip the 30 Round Mag, which isn’t an essential attachment for this loadout, but one to consider. The bonus of this attachment is that you will never run out of bullets in a gunfight, but you will sacrifice some of your speed for that added benefit.

Alternative TAQ-V Build

MW2 TAQ V 2
  • Muzzle: Gauge-9 Mono
  • Barrel: 12″ Tac Short Barrel
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Rear Grip: FSS Combat Grip
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Pro

If you want an alternative loadout to try, this option might be perfect for you. Unfortunately, you will have to rank up quickly to unlock the Gauge-9 Mono Muzzle, but once you have done, it is an excellent tool for reducing recoil and increasing bullet velocity.

The 12″ Tac Short barrel makes handling and ADS even better, and the FTAC Ripper 56 reduces the weapon recoil even further.

We’ve also included the Cronen Mini Pro optic on this loadout, but as with the other loadout, you can take your pick here.
