Building the perfect Ultimate Team in FIFA 23 doesn’t have to be exclusive to those with big bank accounts. There are cheap players out there that you can purchase to help make your Ultimate Team more competitive online.
Ensuring you have fast center forwards is an essential aspect of any FIFA 23 Ultimate Team that meets the current Ultimate Team meta. This article reveals some of the best fast, cheap strikers on FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
There is a separate guide for defenders, and you will find that pretty useful as well. As we did in that guide, we have also split the options in this one into Specials (promo cards), Gold, Silver, and Bronze players to ensure that there are options for every budget.
Cheap Fast Special Strikers
At this stage of the game, there is a wide variety of players available on the market as far as special cards go. So, I’ll split this section into two sub-sections: In-form (Team of the Week) cards and promo cards.
In-form cards will generally cost less so I’ll recommend some really good fast strikers for under 20k, but you have the option of promo cards if you have more room in your budget (sub-50k range).
Due to price fluctuations, some of these cards will occasionally go over the budgets that I’ve stated. But, if you keep an eye on them for a short while, you can get them at said prices.
In-form fast and cheap strikers
Lois Openda
This card is one of the fastest strikers in the game. His 81-rated in-form is already pretty rapid, but the 85 upgrade really takes things to a new level.
His pace split is very balanced, and you don’t need any chemistry-style boosts in that area.
90 finishing is plenty good as well, but you can give it an extra boost alongside the rest of his shooting stats with a Marksman chem style. Dribbling gets a boost too, which is great, especially for the ball control and dribbling boosts.
His links are only okay, but he’s a great option for a Ligue1-only/hybrid team.
Enner Valencia
Speaking of links, Enner Valencia’s second in-form card is even harder to link than Openda’s. However, if you manage to get him on chem, you’ll have a cheap beast on your hands.
His stats are great for multiple roles in that striker position. If you like to defend from the front, he’s got decent defending for a striker. If you like to play with two men up top, he’s good decent passing. If you play with a lone striker, he has very good physical attributes to support that.
If you can get him on chem and apply the Engine chemistry style, there’s be a significant difference in how good he feels on the ball as well because of the dribbling and pace boosts.
Gerard Deulofeu
Gerard Deluofeu has really good links, especially compared to the previous two strikers. There are many excellent Spanish players in the game as well as Serie A, so he’s a really good budget option in that striker position for a hybrid team.
His 93 overall pace score has a perfectly balanced split, and his dribbling stats along with his body type make him feel good on the ball.
It’s a good thing that this card has nice links because you need the Shooting boosts from a chemistry style. You could go with the Hawk if you’d like to increase his Physical stats as well, or a Hunter if you only care about extra Pace and Shooting.
Luis Muriel
Luis Muriel’s in-form card was absolutely cracked in the earlier stages of the game. While it does not perform at those levels anymore as there are loads of better cards, it is still one of the best cheap fast strikers in the game.
He’s a great option if you’re building a Serie A team as his links offer little else. His Colombian nationality only has a few usable players in the game, so you’ll have to go Serie A.
With the Hunter chem style, you can get this card up to near-max pace with excellent shooting stats to boot. His dribbling numbers are in a good area so he feels decent on the ball, but you’ll have to work with the physicals – he might need subbing near the end of the game!
Tosin Aiyegun
You won’t find Tosin Aiyegun’s card in many teams as a result of the poor links, but he’s a great budget option to have on the bench if you need to sub a player off mid-game.
Now, substitutes come on with zero chem, so a chemistry style would be wasted on him in this scenario. However, his starting overall pace score of 97 is more than enough to deal damage to the tired legs of defenders if you’re looking for a goal in the closing stages of a game.
If, by some miracle, you’re able to get him on chem and start him, applying a Marksman would be the way to go.
Promo fast and cheap strikers
Silas
Silas is a fan favorite among FUT gamers, so the arrival of his Winter Wildcard SBC card this year was a welcome addition.
On paper, this card is actually a bit of a weird one. Unlike most of the cards that I’ve discussed so far, he’s 6’2″ with a High and Average body type so he’s not your typical small and agile fast striker. But, he has 5-star skill moves – it’s weird.
He’s also not very strong on the ball despite his height, boasting only 81 Strength with 66 Aggression. However, he’s a beast in-game regardless.
If you’re worried about chem, then Silas can only really be a starter in a Bundesliga team because his Congolese and Stuttgart links offer little else.
However, he’s a great option for the bench as well. The base 95 overall pace combined with 92 finishing is an efficient combo.
Timo Werner
Speaking of options in the Bundesliga, Timo Werner’s Road to the World Cup card is an alternative that offers much better links than Silas and is also very rapid.
His unique body type also makes him feel better on the ball, but you’ll need to boost those Balance and Agility numbers to make the most of his dribbling.
To that end, an Engine chemistry style wouldn’t be out of place as it offers those important boosts as well as small boosts to pace and passing. However, I only recommend doing that if you plan to use him in the side positions.
If you’re using this card as a striker, he needs a shooting boost as well. His pace is already pretty good in my opinion, so applying a Finisher chem style would offer more important improvements to Shooting and Dribbling.
Jonathan Burkardt
Here we’ve got yet another Bundesliga option with decent links for chemistry. Jonathan’s Future Stars card is a very good budget option with a Hawk chemistry style applied, especially if you’re particular about pace.
The boosts offered by the Hawk take his overall pace to 97, Shooting to 90, and Physicality to 88. That pace boost is particularly important if you plan to play him in the side positions or as a second striker that drifts wide to drag defenders out of position.
I see a lot of people also try out the Finisher chemistry style with this card. However, with his height and average body type, the difference that the dribbling boost makes to his performance in-game is not worth as much as the near-max pace boost.
Moise Kean
Moise Kean’s SBC was really popular in FUT this year. The SBC is no longer available, so you can’t get him anymore if you missed it.
However, an alternative would be this equally-rapid 86-rated in-form card which only has one less overall pace. He has nice national, club, and league links so it should be pretty easy to get him on full chemistry.
If you do, then you want to give him the Hunter chemistry style to max out his pace and boost his shooting significantly as well.
His Physicality is in a pretty good area, so he can play as a lone striker if you want. If you’re playing him in a two-striker formation, then you want to make sure that you keep the passes that you make with him as simple as possible so you don’t lose possession.
Wlodzimierz Smolarek
Smolarek has two FUT Hero cards in the game, but this is his base Hero card, not the Marvel one. Despite only possessing a 3-star weak foot and 3-star skill moves, he feels really agile on the ball so you can make something happen with him in tight situations.
His 91 base pace and 85 shooting both need boosts, however. With the Hunter chemistry style, you’ll be ready to deal some serious damage with this guy.
He can play as a lone striker or in a two-striker formation, but ultimately, he will most likely only contribute Bundesliga links to your team. This is because he’s Polish and there are not too many popular cards with that nationality in the game at this stage.
Wojciech Szczęsny, Robert Lewandowski, and Piotr Zielinski come to mind, but not much else.
Cheap Fast Gold Strikers
For starters, you might think that all of the gold strikers with high pace statistics will be expensive, but there are several options you can use to inject some pace into your attacks without spending all your hard-earned in-game cash.
Silas
If you missed his Winter Wildcard SBC, Silas also has an excellent gold budget option.
He has 87 pace, with a split of 88 sprint speed and 85 acceleration. On top of his excellent pace statistics, he also has 5-star skills, another important statistic that will help when playing online.
Aside from his excellent pace statistics, Silas Katompa Mvumpa also has an 80 in dribbling and a 71 in shooting, which is helped by his 80 in finishing.
Silas is a great choice if you are looking for a striker from one of the top European leagues that will add pace and plenty of other benefits to your team.

Tiago Tomás
If you want to have two rapid strikers from the same club to maximize pace and team chemistry, you might want to add Tomas alongside Silas.
Tomas also has an 87 pace score, 84 acceleration, and 89 sprint speed. Tomas also has an excellent dribbling score of 77, but a slightly lower shooting score of 70, and 3-star skills.
However, he is slightly more physical than Silas, which will benefit particular players based on their play style.
While his shooting is only 70, he has a 73 finishing statistic and 75 shot power, making him excellent in and around the box.

Musa Barrow
Moving to Serie A in Italy, Musa Barrow is another great cheap striker with plenty of pace and other attributes that can take your Ultimate Team forward.
His pace is 84 overall, 82 acceleration, and 85 sprint speed. He also has a brilliant dribbling score of 78 and an impressive shooting score of 75.
Besides having a 63 physicality, Barrow is a well-rounded striker that perfectly suits the FIFA 23 Ultimate Team meta.
Playing in Serie A allows you to pair Barrow with many top players from the Italian league, such as some of the superstars from AC Milan.
Key Statistics
- Pace: 84
- Acceleration: 82
- Sprint Speed: 85
- Dribbling: 78
- Shooting: 75

Mislav Oršić
In FIFA 23, Orsic is one of the most value-for-money forwards you can choose. His statistics are fantastic, and although his preferred position is left-wing, he can also play up front and easily meets the meta to carry your front line.
Firstly, he has blistering pace, which is 88 overall, 87 acceleration, and 89 sprint speed. But that is not where the impressive statistics end. He also has an 80 shooting statistic and 75 dribbling.
Aside from his pace, Orsic also has a 4-star weaker foot, allowing you to run past defenders on either side.
As he plays in the Croatian top league, he might be a little trickier to pair with other players for team chemistry, but he has plenty of upsides.
Key Statistics
- Pace: 88
- Acceleration: 87
- Sprint Speed: 89
- Dribbling: 75
- Shooting: 80
Estimated Cost: 600
Kamaldeen Sulemana
With a 93 pace statistic, Kamaldeen Sulemana is one of the fastest players in FIFA 23. He has 92 acceleration and 93 sprint speed, yet you should still be able to get him at a reasonably low price.
Another benefit of Sulemana is that he plays in Ligue 1, one of Europe’s top leagues. Therefore, he can easily pair with other top players to improve team chemistry.
Alongside his incredible pace, he also has an 80 in dribbling. The only issue Sulemana brings is that his shooting sits at 69, which ideally would be a little higher.
Key Statistics
- Pace: 93
- Acceleration: 92
- Sprint Speed: 93
- Dribbling: 80
- Shooting: 69
Estimated Cost: 500
Cheap Fast Silver Strikers
If the gold players on this list are not available on the transfer market right now or are slightly out of your price range, or you are creating the best possible silver Ultimate Team, you’re in luck.
There are plenty of fast silver strikers for you to pick from at a fair price.
Devante Cole
The first silver card you might want to consider for your Ultimate Team is Devante Cole, who plays for Barnsley in the English third division.
Devante Cole is a very cheap silver card that has 86 pace overall, with 88 sprint speed and 84 acceleration.
His dribbling and shooting sit at 64, which could be a little higher, but that is one of the reasons this card is a little cheaper. With the right chemistry style applied, you can easily turn Cole into a big threat going forwards.
Key Statistics
- Pace: 86
- Acceleration: 84
- Sprint Speed: 88
- Dribbling: 64
- Shooting: 64
Estimated Cost: 400
Amine Adli
If you are searching for a quick silver card striker that offers a little more than just pace, Amine Adli is a handy option that won’t break the bank.
Alongside his 86 pace, made up of 86 acceleration and sprint speed, Adli also offers 80 dribbling, and 72 shooting, making him a well-rounded striker that you can build your attacks around.
Adli could be a little more physical, as that statistic is just 54, but with a 4-star skill rating and plenty of other benefits, he is a solid choice.
He also plays in one of Europe’s top five leagues for Bayern Leverkusen, making it easy to pair him with other top players.
Key Statistics
- Pace: 86
- Acceleration: 86
- Sprint Speed: 86
- Dribbling: 80
- Shooting: 72
Estimated Cost: 350
Felix Afena-Gyan
While Afena-Gyan is slightly less well-rounded than Adli, he is even quicker. Overall, Afena-Gyan has an 89 pace statistic, with 88 acceleration and 90 sprint speed.
He is not bad at shooting, with a 70 score, but it could be a little higher.
He also has a 69 dribbling score and just a 2-star skills score. However, with his raw pace and the correct chemistry styles, Afena-Gyan could be a great cheap pick-up for your squad.
Another benefit is that he plays in Serie A, Italy’s top division, which makes it easy to pair him with top players and gain valuable chemistry points.
Key Statistics
- Pace: 89
- Acceleration: 88
- Sprint Speed: 90
- Dribbling: 69
- Shooting: 70
Estimated Cost: 400
Simon Hedlund
Another cheap silver striker that has pace and is well-rounded is Simon Hedlund, a Swedish striker who plays for Brondby FC in Denmark.
Hedlund has an impressive 88 pace score, 87 acceleration, and 88 sprint speed. He also has solid dribbling skills at 71 and decent physicality at 67.
The only areas where Hedlund lacks are his shooting, which sits at 61, and 3-star skills.
It is also tricky to gain chemistry points with Hedlund, as he plays in a lesser league and is from a country that is not renowned for producing a range of top players that might be on your team.
Key Statistics
- Pace: 88
- Acceleration: 87
- Sprint Speed: 88
- Dribbling: 71
- Shooting: 61
Estimated Cost: 400
Achille Anani
If you refuse to settle for pace that drops below 90, but you don’t want to spend all your hard-earned funds, Achille Anani might be a good choice for you. With a 90 pace, 90 acceleration, and 90 sprint speed, Anani is one of the fastest silver strikers and one that you can get your hands on without spending too much.
He also has a 67 dribbling score and a 68 shooting score, which are both slightly below being very effective numbers. The right chemistry style could make him a nightmare for the opposition defense.
Key Statistics
- Pace: 90
- Acceleration: 90
- Sprint Speed: 90
- Dribbling: 67
- Shooting: 68
Estimated Cost: 400
Cheap Fast Bronze Strikers
You might think bronze strikers do not offer the same pace capabilities as silver or gold players. After all, their overall statistics are much lower, so surely they cannot compete?
Some of the quickest strikers in the game are bronze cards. While these players certainly have holes in their game, some of those can be patched with the right chemistry style.
Timmy Abraham
Not to be mistaken for his slightly more successful brother Tammy, Timmy Abraham can bring plenty of benefits to your team at an absolute steal.
Abraham is an excellent option if you need a bronze striker and don’t want to spend any money.
Overall, Abraham’s pace sits at 86. With 87 acceleration and 86 sprint speed.
However, he does lack other essential aspects that you require from a striker, with a 54 shooting and dribbling score.
If you pick Abraham for your team, be aware that he may miss a few chances you create through his blistering pace.
Key Statistics
- Pace: 86
- Acceleration: 87
- Sprint Speed: 86
- Dribbling: 54
- Shooting: 54

Saikou Janneh
Janneh is another bronze striker with even more pace to spare and won’t cost you very much to purchase.
He has an 88 pace, 90 acceleration, and 87 sprint speed. His dribbling and shooting statistics are also slightly higher than Abrahams’s, with his dribbling at 58 and his shooting at 56.
These statistics are more than adequate for a bronze player, especially when you realize how cheap this player is to get.

Harvey Saunders
You might think it would be impossible to get a bronze card striker with 90 pace on the cheap, but that is the case with Harvey Saunders.
Saunders has a 90 pace statistic, with 91 acceleration and 90 sprint speed, but his shooting and dribbling are similar to other bronze players on this list, at 55 and 58, respectively.
If you can pair Saunders with the right chemistry style, his incredible pace could be a real threat.

Yengi has 87 pace, with 87 acceleration and sprint speed. Alongside that, he also has an excellent 75 physicality and a very respectable 62 for his dribbling.
He offers more than just pace to anyone that manages to grab him at a discounted rate.
