If you’re looking for where to mine Springstone in New World then this is the guide for you.
Whilst there are plenty of locations to find Springstone in New World — and the great place that is Aeternum — I stumbled across what might be the best place for mining Springstone in the game.
I’ll show you exactly where to find it on the map and what else you need to consider.
Mining Springstone requires a Mining skill of at least 50.
If you’ve not yet started on the skill grind yet, you can get your Mining skill up quickly using certain strategies. That said, you’ll still have to commit to a couple of hours of grinding mining at a minimum, starting with boulders and iron ores and then moving on to other more exciting items.
I found multiple Springstone rocks in the landmark that’s almost directly in the middle of Monarch’s Bluffs and Everfall.
This is near to Alioth that you should find on the map if you’ve visited at least once (and if you haven’t, simply travel to the location in the image below).
There are at least three Springstone rocks in this location, surrounding the NPCs that defend chests containing uncommon ancient armor and some other fairly low-level items. These items could still be valuable to you if you’re a low level player or don’t have good equipment yet.
If you find quite a large concrete staircase that ascends to the top of a waterfall, you’re in the right place.
It looks like this from the top:
If you look on the left side of that image, you’ll see Springstone on the other side of the rocks.
But here’s something important to know:
The NPCs here are quite aggressive and will team up on you.
If you’re a low level player and have simply been focusing on mining, you might not survive in this location. I had four NPCs attacking me at the same time at one point and if you’re low level, you definitely won’t make it away with Springstone in hand. This is due to where they’re located — you have to pass past the NPCs to get to the Springstone.
I would recommend leveling up your combat skills before trying to get here, or at least turn up with a friend or two to help fend off the pesky foes.
That said, if your friends also have their eye on some Springstone, that would make things tricky as only one person can mine it and then you’ll need to wait for it to respawn.
